Easter Dinner – Spring Time and March — 

These are a few of my favourite things!

I love the freshness and renewal of spring!  March is my birthday month, so what’s not to love about that?  It feels exciting to transition to a new season and it is extra nice to refresh my home.  I begin by choosing a new splash of colour to add to my decor.  A colour that will add some newness and take me away from winter and dive me into spring.    I love the colours, calming and peaceful effect of the ocean, so my spring theme this year is “Ocean”!

A quick and easy way  to change things up is to start with new accent cushions and  I like to sew new covers every season.  

 

Another favourite thing I love….is to add some new linens, placemats, or dishes!  This gets me all excited about setting a beautiful table for Easter and begin my menu planning.  I’m loving these new Asian theme dishes we found at Williams Sonoma on South Granville.  The colours are a nice addition to my ocean theme and I love the dramatic affect.

And the tea towels to match are stunning!

Okay, now I am ready to plan my Easter Dinner Menu!
